In summer, relax at an outdoor table and soak up the sunshine. On cooler days, enjoy the warmth of our glass-enclosed seating with views of the street, or take in the atmosphere by the open kitchen. For a more intimate experience, dine by candlelight surrounded by centuries-old brick walls—perfect for a romantic evening.

Every weekend, we invite you to to GamlaVærket to a delicious and relaxed brunch in historic surroundings in the heart of Sandnes. Take a break from everyday life and enjoy quality ingredients, tempting dishes, and something nice in your glass – whether you come with friends, family, or simply want to treat yourself to a peaceful start to the day.

We serve brunch on Saturdays from 11:00 to 15:00 and Sundays from 12:00 to 16:00. Please note that brunch is not served on certain public holidays.

Emanuels Plass

Welcome to our café Emanuels Plass at GamlaVærket—perfectly located along charming Langgata. It’s the ideal spot to take a break from your stroll through Sandnes’ pedestrian streets and enjoy a light bite or a refreshing drink in a relaxed atmosphere.

When the sun is out, enjoy ice cream, milkshakes, and iced coffee at one of our outdoor tables. On colder days, there’s nothing cozier than settling in by the fireplace with a hot cup of coffee or cocoa.

At Emanuels Plass, you’ll also find a tempting selection of cakes, baked goods, toast, sandwiches, and more.

You can reserve our elegant tasting room for private events—or simply for a special Saturday night with family or friends.

Savor our excellent selection of wines by the glass at a tasting table crafted from reclaimed timber salvaged from the neighboring building—where every sip is surrounded by soul and history.
