Discovery Route

A 4-day historic road trip through
Fjord Norway!

We’ve brushed the dust off the historic Discovery Route (Route 13) through Fjord Norway, from Stavanger to Bergen.

The route has existed since the 1880s, when tourists came by horse and cart to experience the magnificent scenery of mountains, glaciers, crystal-clear rivers, rushing waterfalls and clean fjords. Today, nature is the starting point for a unique and varied range of outdoor activities and experiences. Along the way, you can stay in historic hotels.

Along the Discovery Route you’ll find classic hikes, famous waterfalls and some of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway: Preikestolen and Trolltunga.
