GamlaVærket’s suite offers charming antique furniture, wooden floors, a private living room, a jacuzzi, and a private bathroom. The suite features a large, exceptionally comfortable double bed, a wardrobe, a Smart TV, a coffee machine, and a kettle — everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay.
The suite is also equipped with a hairdryer, bathrobes, and bath products, as well as a heater for the colder months.

Our breakfast buffet service is from 06:30 to 09:30 on weekdays and 08:00 to 11:00 on weekends.

The romance begins right when you step into our doors. You’ll find a bottle of bubbly and a tray of fresh fruit in your room. Then for dinner – a quiet, romantic, candlelit 3-course meal for two in the gallery.
For those who want to do an activity, there are a variety of opportunities nearby. For example, a trip to Dalsnuten, Preikestolen, or 7-nutsturen.
We also recommend a stroll in Sandnes city center and Langgata with good shopping opportunities.
Included in the package is an overnight stay for two people, in a historic double room, with a bottle of sparkling wine and fruit platter ready on arrival.
In the room you will find luxurious bathrobes. A great 3-course dinner and a delicious breakfast buffet downstairs in the restaurant are included.
We can offer spa treatments and skin care at our neighbor, Four Season Spa in Langgata, if you want to nurture your body and soul.
Practical information
Parking
Sandnes city center has plenty of available street parking spaces, payable via an automated payment machine (accepts coins or cards), a parking meter, or an app (EasyPark). Most of these parking spaces are short-term; this is to guarantee circulation within the narrow streets of the city center, so that everyone can eventually find a free space.
In certain streets, such as St. Olavs gate, there are a few long-term parking spaces available. Be sure to check the signs carefully.
Electric Vehicles
There are 3 charging stations in Sandnes: Eidsvollgata (by Vitenfabrikken), Storgata 52, and Langgata 66.
Bystasjonen Parking Garage

Bystasjonen is a secure parking building with 345 spaces available for public use.
It is equipped with a camera system that can detect license plates. With an Autopay profile, all you have to do is drive in and out.

Parkering
Sandnes city center has plenty of available street parking spaces, equipped with ticket machines or parking meters. Most of these are short-term parking spaces, designed to ensure good turnover so that it is easy for everyone to find a free spot for shorter parking needs.
At most locations, you can pay using coins, credit card, or the EasyPark app. Please note that long-term parking is not available in St. Olavs gate.
Always check the signage carefully.

Parkering
As a guest at GamlaVærket, you can use Bystasjonen parking garage, located just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The garage has a maximum vehicle height of 2.10 metres and is open daily from 06:00 to 24:00. If you need to collect your car after 24:00, Avarn Security must be contacted. The phone number is displayed at the entrance from Ruten.
Parking is camera-based (Autopay), and payment can be made automatically via Autopay or at the payment machines in the facility. There are five payment machines in the parking garage: one by the escalator from Bystasjonen shopping centre, which accepts both card and coins, and four others located by lifts and stairwells, which accept card payments only. Parking can also be registered via the EasyPark app.
