Parking

Street parking is available in Sandnes city center. Most street parking is short-term; this is to contribute to circulation so that everyone can find a free space. Most street parking is payable with cash, credit card, or the EasyPark app. On St. Olavs gate, there are a few long-term parking spaces available. Be sure to check the signs carefully.

There are 3 charging stations in Sandnes: Eidsvollgata (by Vitenfabrikken), Storgata 52, and Langgata 66.

Bystasjonen Parking Garage

Bystasjonen is located in the middle of the city center with a state-of-the-art parking garage on the lower floors. Emphasis has been placed on the use of bright colors, good lighting, high security, and the use of automatic space detection (i.e. the use of LEDs in the ceiling) to make it easier to find available spaces. Spaces for electric vehicles are marked with white LEDs. Parking spaces for people with reduced mobility are marked with blue LEDs. All other available spaces are marked with green LEDs. The garage has a total of 471 parking spaces (345 spaces open to the public and 126 spaces reserved for residents).

Bystasjonen is equipped with license plate recognition. With an Autopay profile, all you have to do is drive in and out.
